1. About the service

QUIZT is an AI-powered quiz platform for live social gaming, operated by Carl-Gustav AB (org. nr 559344-8276), a Swedish company. By using QUIZT, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use QUIZT. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Each person may hold one account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You sign in through Google OAuth. QUIZT does not store your Google password.

4. Free and Pro plans

Free (Host Curated mode). Available to all users. Supports up to 20 players per game. No payment required.

QUIZT Pro ($19/month USD). Unlocks Fair Mix mode, Common Ground mode, advanced VAR (AI Referee), branding options, and analytics. Pro subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

• Billing is handled by Stripe. QUIZT never stores your card details.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal.
• No partial refunds are given for unused portions of a billing period.
• If you cancel, Pro features remain available until the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable use

When using QUIZT, you agree not to:

• Cheat or manipulate game outcomes through technical means
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access the service
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
• Submit illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content as game topics
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or our internal systems
• Resell or commercially redistribute the service without permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice.

6. AI-generated content

QUIZT uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. The VAR (AI Referee) system provides dispute resolution, but its decisions are automated and not guaranteed to be correct.

You should not rely on QUIZT content as a source of factual authority.

7. Intellectual property

The QUIZT brand, logo, software, and design are owned by Carl-Gustav AB. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without written permission.

When you submit content to QUIZT (such as topic suggestions or display names), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use that content for operating and improving the service.

8. Limitation of liability

QUIZT is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free content, or specific uptime.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carl-Gustav AB's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for QUIZT Pro in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

By us. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason with reasonable notice.

By you. You can delete your account at any time. If you have a Pro subscription, cancel it first through the Stripe customer portal.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of QUIZT after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved by the Swedish courts.
