Carl-Gustav AB is the data controller for all personal data processed through quizt.app.

What data we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID. We use this to create and maintain your QUIZT account.

Game data. When you play, we collect your scores, answers, chosen topics, and game session details. This is necessary to run the game and display leaderboards.

Payment data. If you subscribe to QUIZT Pro, payments are handled by Stripe. QUIZT never sees or stores your card number. We receive confirmation of payment status, subscription ID, and billing email from Stripe.

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how people use QUIZT. This is gated behind your cookie consent. Analytics data includes page views, session duration, and general usage patterns.

Cookies. We use the following cookies: - Session cookie (necessary) -- keeps you logged in during your visit. - Consent cookie (necessary) -- remembers your cookie preferences. - Language preference cookie (necessary) -- remembers your chosen language. - Analytics cookies (requires consent) -- Google Analytics tracking, only set if you accept analytics cookies.

Why we process your data

Who has access to your data

We share data with the following third-party processors, all of which are GDPR-compliant:

• Google -- OAuth authentication and Google Analytics 4.
• Stripe -- Payment processing for Pro subscriptions.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

How long we keep your data

• Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we erase your personal data.
• Anonymous session data is cleaned of personally identifiable information after 30 days.
• Game results and challenge content are retained indefinitely to maintain leaderboards and game history.
• Payment records are retained as required by Swedish accounting law.

Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Port your data to another service
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Restrict processing in certain circumstances
• Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing

To exercise any of these rights, email support@quizt.app. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten), the Swedish Data Protection Authority: www.imy.se.

Children

QUIZT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of QUIZT after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Governing law

This privacy policy is governed by Swedish law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
